Don't you just love it when someone consistently likes the comments or responses you make on someone else's discussion but they never read, like or comment on your discussion? This is a phenomenon I can't seem to figure out. Why do they do it and what are they trying to achieve? They can't expect to make a lot of money by just liking a comment or a response, or do they? Fortunately those who do this are in the minority. Have you noticed this and do you have an explanation..

Sometimes somebody has said something that is exactly what you thought and there's nothing to add. LIKE and move on. The alternative is an inane comment that would not meet the "responses or comments that offer little or no value " rule.

Just to clarify. I notice that I have a few followers who would never read or comment on my posts, but they will only comment on a comment I make on another lotter's post. Just wondering if anyone had the same experience.

@Freelanzer I think I understand you perfectly and my comment stands - I think they are just trying to be nice, even if they haven't actually visited your posts.

I think I have to make my posts a little clearer. Most people don't seem to get what I am saying.

How do you know they don't read your discussion? The lack of a like or a comment isn't indicative of not reading it in the first place... perhaps they do bu they just don't like it or just don't have anything to comment about...
Perhaps though they just don't notice your postings as they are not following you.
Whatever the reason, don't sweat it. ;)

This is a discussion forum. What makes you think I am sweating anything just because I write about something that interests me? If they don't like any of my posts why are they following me? it couldn't be for my stunning beauty? or could it?

I like that thought - the latter one about wanting to get noticed, that makes a lot of sense

@Freelanzer Yeah, sometimes I'll check such a person (someone who likes a lot but doesn't comment) and try to make inferences about their motivation.

Maybe they are just trying to help you ^_^ for example I never read a discussion written by you this is the first time. Maybe they never saw a discussion from you but were commenting in someone else's discussion and liked your opinion. It actually helps you to earn also if someone makes a like in what you write.

Could it be because the default under People is to "Show All" rather than "Show Discussions"?
It takes a while to spot the difference between the little curly arrow symbol for a Comment (double) or a Response (single) vs the little stacked bubble icon for a Discussion proper in the "All" view.

if someone doing that thing it means they show their attraction for you and you follow them and vice-versa.so both comment on each other and finally its just to earn for money.this i think otherwise unknown people why like our comment and responses.

Can't figure it out because they don't seem to like what you write only when you make a comment --- strange.

@Freelanzer if they are our followers then its should be ok but need proper comments that make such statement about it
