When is it too late to say sorry?

Is there ever a time table to saying sorry to someone? Would you rather not say sorry at all when you know you've hurt someone, especially if it's unintentional?
What if you can't say the words? Would a hug or a kiss be enough? I'm sure it wouldn't be enough for some people unless they hear an actual apology right?
I've never been one to ask people for an apology. Now that I think about it, only a few makes the cut and I can count it with my fingers. Somehow on the rare occasion that something happens (where I never get an apology), I just give the problem to God or I find some kind of therapeutic way to heal my bruised feelings.
Of course not everyone does it like I do so without saying what the story is, I wonder how do I apologize to someone before it's too late?

I hope so. But then sometimes our apologies fall on deaf ears. I'll just hope for the best.

@briggsy326 Well yeah. I just hope I can make myself say it or not. Ugh. So embarrassing.

@owstalaga Even if it does fall on deaf ears, you will have done all you can. ;)

I don't think there's a time frame when it comes to an apology. I think an apology has to be heartfelt if given

Ah well... I guess it's too much to apologize at this point. I'll do it face to face one of these days.

Maybe I was just being too emotional earlier. *sigh* I dunno if I'll ever need to say sorry or if I still should. This is making me kind of passive aggressive again.

To answer the last question: just build up you courage and go for it. Whenever I make a mistake and apologize for it, it always makes me feel better. If for any reason that person finds it hard to forgive, then it's not my problem to deal with because at least I know I did what is right by apologizing.

Ah well... I guess it's past that time. I think I'm in the negative zone now with the person... Hopefully I get to apologize when the time is right.

Really? This is the first time I find it hard to apologize to someone hence the dilemma.
