Eiffel Tower is Closed

I have just heard the Eiffel Tower will be closed due to the attacks.
We would hate to see anything happen to the Eiffel Tower.
A lockdown and curfew were implimented in the city although passanger planes are still arriving.
President Obama said this attack not just on Paris. It's an attack not just on the people of France. But this is an attack on all of humanity and the universal values we share," he said, pledging support to a nation he called the United States' oldest ally.
The Prime Minister Cameron said Our thoughts and prayers are with the French people. We will do whatever we can to help."
I would think those words would be of some comfort to the French Nation at this time.

That tower does need to be protected and would hate to see anything happen to it..I am not french but they are part of the world we all live in and i care for them all!

It is hard to say if any other monuments will be attacked in the future or where more bombings will take place.

I'm sure they'll reopen it once everything calms down, but I understand why it needs to be closed for awhile, I hope they catch the people who did the attacks. Our hearts and prayers are with the people of France.
