I think their Bubble Has Popped!

Just popped into the Bubble, merely to send another complaint email... not that anyone is there to receive, and certainly no-one to action it, after which I checked out the Homepage. All I can say is OH DEAR! where did it all go wrong? Well most here know the answer to that....but what a sad and ghostly sight and site. Apart from a couple of Featured posts by Andrewspace and Fiacre,it is certainly a very lonely place to be, with the Features managing a few Likes and odd posts that have been up a few hours, getting an odd Like, it appears a very ghostly place to be. Why would anyone, in their right mind, allow such a successful and lively website, as it once was, simply to implode and snowball it's way into oblivion, it now has all the appearance of the last survivor, clinging to a lifeline, with no anchor.

The problem with Bubblews was not only bad management, but its total lack of integrity in its relations with writers. For a long time I gave them some benefit of the doubt, but not any more. They don't deserve to survive.

I think they may have meant well to begin with, they just bit off more than they could chew then just stopped caring.

They really have nobody to blame but themselves. They took something that many people loved and they destroyed it.

@AdrienneJenkins I just read on myLot that the site is gone. And it is. They wish us all the best.

@bookbar rude, inconsiderate and abrupt. What else could we have expected. No opportunity for people to download their content or say goodbye. And no prospect of any payments.

whilst I sympathise (to an extent) with what they had to do to keep the place from totally going under, they did shoot themselves in the foot.

@briggsy326 Along with spending too much time and money on the unsuccessful Sweeble venture, which has largely bombed...

@briggsy326 shot themselves in the foot, emptied the magazine, reloaded and emptied the new magazine....

I was there for about two hours this afternoon to delete some posts, Its hard to do because you have to go back and delete them twice to make them go away. I did notice the whole time I was there no one added any new posts. It felt like a ghost town. By by Bubblews...

@Lucky15 start saving your favorites as you write them, I usually do that to all I write.

They seemed young, dumb and inexperienced in the ways of business.

The bubble gradually began to deflate after the announcement on News Year's Eve about the reduction of earnings rate. It did not take very long before the rate of deflation increased and now there is very little air left to expel.

Ya, I still try to write there every now and then, but might have to stop because it is like writing to a brick wall.

Why?! It is because Arvind designed it that way . . . He made money by stealing our hard-earned money (those unpaid redemptions a year ago). He used the money to start his sweeble. . . And now he ran away with our unpaid earnings.
