hey everyone, please suggest me some gift ideas for my mother as her birthday is coming in next month....please help me out....

At first I hope your mom will have a nice birthday. In fact she will be glad no matter what you give her. I know that the gold plays a main part for Indians. Perhaps a gold jewelry will be a nice birthday surprise? It is valuable and women love jewelries.

your suggest is totally great.....and one day i will gift my mom some gold ornament for sure....i am not working anywhere so i don't have much money gold really require a lot of money....but your idea is really amazing and you know indians well i must say....still i can think of buying jewel for her.....

How about you just ask her informally as to what she thinks can be added to the house or if she thinks is missing!! Buy that thing!! Or maybe, a CD collection of her favorite religious serials( if she is into that)!!

thank god ....my mom is not that much religious....she prays but she is not so spirtual.....i think saree will be great for her....my mom loves to buy saree....

Go for something which is just ideal and not so common in and around. You may get something for the prayer /puja room so it is more for the family prosperity over all. wish your mom a great day.

my mom has actually no time for sewing the things up and my mom is actually not so traditional...she likes to watch hollywood movies with us....

If you stay in the place where winter is severe, then you can gift her a beautiful sweater which is useful to her and also she likes it. If her hobby is related to the craft, then you can gift her craft materials. otherwise, a beautiful handbag, saree, watch also makes her happy. If she is a working lady, sun glasses will be nice
