Best Reasonably Priced Smartphone?

I am thinking of buying a new smartphone soon as my iPhone 4s is starting to play up and it won't allow me to install new apps because of the ios 8 software update.
I wish the iPhone 5 was more affordable as I am not willing to spend over £100 on smartphone let alone £500! My sister did say she will give me her old iphone 5 but so far she keeps putting it off and I have a feeling she won't end up giving it me in the end.
So the question is what is the best reasonably priced smartphone to get? I want one that has great HD screen and has a great internet browser.

I am not a fan of iPhone because I think its price is not reasonable. I like Android phone much more because they can have as many as good apps like iPhone. And it is much more convenient to connect the computer. And the price is nice.

IPhones are expensive, so you wouldn't those, but I must say they are made of quality materials I have the IPhone 6s plus, and I love it. My very first iPhone was the 5S, and it was a great phone, but the screen was just to small. I like the bigger screens,as mine has a 5.5" screen, which is great for watching videos and even doing mylot.![](/Content/images/emotes/thumbup.gif)

Wow ok good question, I'm not sure, I have a S3 mini but the battery not hold charge or something happening to it. I've looked for a new phone but the prices are too much for me at the moment. I've never had a iPhone, never really wanted one. I do like the new Samsung, but the cost I don't like.

Are you able to get new phone at lower rate or free if you sign up for 2 years contract?
Over here, the telcos basically give away the cheaper smartphone if you sign up for the contract, and most of these phones are great phones, but not as famous as Apple.

I'd suggest to read reviews online, they usually help you to make comparisons in terms of features and prices. Good luck! ![](/Content/images/emotes/happy.gif)

Just don't get an iPhone 5c they are rubbish. I saw an iPhone 4s on sale for £119 today and they are way better than the 5c I was tempted to trade mine in and downgrade lol x
