While news of the demise of the other site fills me with indifference (they really aren't worth any emotional investment) I am surprised that many people are so annoyed that there has been no pronouncement from the owners. Really? You think that would have achieved anything? Here is how I imagine Arvind would have announced the closure of the site.
"Endings! Are they really the end or just beginnings in disguise? After all aren't we all in disguise to some extent? In life it is sometimes necessary to don the mask of acceptability in order to achieve one's desired ends. Sadly, as with so much in life, the performance becomes tiring. The mask slips offering a brief glimpse of the reality behind. Only the astute perceive the meaning of the fleeting exposure of truth. But what is truth? We all perceive truth in our own way. Who's to say who's truth is real truth. One man's truth is another man's web of deceit. Deceit and truth. Two sides of the same coin. Remember those? Coins! Didn't think so!!"

@WorDazza ha-ha, that was the best arvind impression ever! I am laughing pretty good! It is defiantly time to let the bubble pop and move on, but I appreciate the laugh.

That's good, I like that/ Even though I was so close to cashing out. Just over $4 away. It took over a year or more to get to that point. They had a good thing going, then they got greedy and stupid. Not that there weren't some people who were just as dishonest toward Bubblews. I think the simple thing to do, would have been to allow only five posts a day, and I'm sure there is software somewhere that will detect suspicious activities. If there isn't why doesn't somebody write something to do that. I would think there would be a number of computer wizards out there in the world that would jump at the chance to create a program like that. I believe they let there early success go to their heads, and they screwed the pooch on their running of the site.

That's the most original Bubblews shutdown post I've seen yet. Hilarious.
