How Do You Make Links in Comments Show Up With the Picture on myLot?

I notice some people when they comment in discussions on myLot are able to have links show up like Facebook links where it's the link plus the site photo. How do you do this? Photo Source: SuziCatherine on Flicker Creative Commons License (CC BY 2.0)

It seems that you have discovered by accident. Any full link (beginning with http) anywhere in a post (discussion, response or comment) will display at the foot of the post as a formatted link provided that there is a space before and after it. Even when it is first posted, you won't see it formatted as such until you refresh the page, however.

You da bomb. That seems to be the missing "link". I often don't have the http: and whoa --- the space thing is another tricky dicky finicky detail. And then the refresh of the page. YES!!! I'll give it a try.

Side note. @owlwings I have also accidentally tagged a discussion tag when wanting to make a comment. Is there any way to delete these tags? The last time I tried, it deleted the whole comment.

Just copy the URL into your comment or discussion and there you are.

@AdrienneJenkins Links typically won't show up with the preview right after you make the post. Once the page is refreshed, they appear like they're supposed to.

I was but it wasn't working automatically. It's probably because of the issues @owlwings mentions below. I'll try again. TESTED. The browser refresh is what did it.

I never have used such links, so do not have an idea.

When you post your discussion, you do not see the link, but it shows as soon as the page is refreshed. I noticed this yesterday, I posted a link to a YouTube video and I only saw the link. Today, replying to a comment, I noticed that there is the image of the video.
