Paris, France

Sites like the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre are currently closed in the city of Paris due to the horrific terrorist attacks that took place this weekend. The city has been shaken to its core by these attacks but they will fight back and the city will be stronger due to these attacks. Borders are closed to those trying to enter and to refugees who come to France to escape the political chaos of other places such as Syria and Belgium. Terrorism alerts are as high as possible and the military strength has increased tremendously. Paris citizens will emerge a different people due to these attacks, but I do not believe that they will fail in the effort to fight those responsible for the attacks. France will remain strong and will fight to regain control of Paris and the wonderful tourism that the city provides. As the United States fought the same feelings 14 years ago when our land was attacked by terrorists, many citizens found an inner strength and a love for their country that had seemed lost. Our fight became stronger and a new way of life emerged. France will see the same and become a stronger nation! Please know that people around the world have the citizens or Paris and all of France in their thoughts today and will keep them there in the next few weeks. Many countries will join France in the hunt for those responsible and France will vow to fight a fight for their people. The rest of the world needs to realize that we need peace. Whether or political views, our religious views, or even our thoughts about other countries are, as humans we need to be kinder to others. We need to start a campaign to use social media to bring a kinder way of life. We share many things on social media, why not share what we are doing for others? I say our new hashtag needs to be #Let'sbekind I am going to Twitter next to share the ideas that I have. I plan to share on Periscope, Twitter, FaceBook, and many of my other sites with this same hashtag.

I have lived in France 25 years, I was extremely touched for the events of last Friday. Now I wonder which city will be the next target.
