I have gotten so much conflicting information today that I am actually worried about vets lying at this point. It's hard to get a straight answer when they are worried about being sued or getting business. I ask general questions and no one wants to answer them without seeing the cat. There are percentages as to how long animals live so why can't someone tell me. What are the chances that the cat gets worse? Does the cat need extra care? Oh what a headache. All we are trying to do is adopt a cat. No one even told us this cat was sick until after the adoption papers were signed.
