My mind is a total blank

I know I am not the only one that has this problem of their minds going blank when you want to post a discussion. I hate when that happens, as I can sit all day and think about what to post, and I never come up with a thing. I guess since I am getting older, it is to be expected, but it isn't any less frustarating when it happens. The thing of it is, when I respond or comment to people, I can post without even thinking about what to say, and that is the main reason I don't start all that many discussions. Since my mind is blank, I thought I would at least post about it being blank. Everyone bear with me while I get my mind to thinking again.

I know you aren't laughing at my blank mind. I am hoping to fill it up with good things, and good discussions. I am glad that you like the discussion.

@rosekiss I know you can do it, if you put your mind to it.

@rosekiss If we could turn back the clock i'd turn it back at least 8 years to correct a few family members from doing something stupid..might help them go in the right direction and keep me from falling and breaking my ankle..hahah

@Rosekitty Oh my, that had to hurt. I think we would all like to turn back the clock to an earlier time. My thought processes, were so much better when I was younger than they are now. I just wish i could come up with topics more than I do, but at least I am getting responses even if the disucssion might be a little weird.

That is funny. I blame it on my age,as I am not getting any younger, and I forget things at times too. If only I could turn back the clock.

I like people like you to open or ask something because somehow every word or piece of advice you share are with all sense... :) just sit there, listen to me.. .Look at me... "relax, your ok. everythings fine.." say that to yourself everytime you encounter such blankness or preoccupied too much in you thought and mind.. :) it quite effective,, ive tried it... I have seen it in a youtube video of a brokenhearted master.. :) lolz..

@nardong_putik This site is never boring. I can always find discussions to respond to while i wait for more notifications to come in. That is what I am doing right now. I took a break to eat supper and do the dishes, and when I came back, I had 12 of them to do. It won't take long to do them, but they are keeping me busy for a bit anyway.

I have just decided not to try so hard to think of a topic, and just let it come to me. That is what I should have done in the first place. It just that at my age, my mind goes bonkers on me sometimes.

I do have a brain but I give it rest most of the time. Because it is one of the few things in me that sleeps and gets any rest I rarely post - stats are a proof of that - in past 5 + years I have been, I have not even 200 discussions on my head. Not that I do not have topics, in fact there was a time when I had content for about 300+ discussions on my diary ready. But then, I realized, if I continue posting them, many at mylot will get so very bored (and confused), I decided not to go with them.

I have less than 100 myself, and I have been a member since 2009, not counting the two years I left when they stopped paying. So, I don't post all that many discussions either, as I have a had a hard time thinking about topics to start a discussion. I would prefer to respond and comment as it is much easier to post and not have to think about what to say.

@thesids I certainly do agree with you.Mylot is a great community, with lots of great people, with different cultures. I love interacting with everyone as I have learned so much from others, made lots of friends, all while earning. Such a great concept.

@rosekiss On a more serious note, I love participating on discussions from the great people out here. Reason - I get to learn a lot. At tims, even different perspectives to some common issues. And it is all achievable being on the discussions from others.

You are probably right about that, as I think I am trying to hard to think of a topic. It shouldn't be hard, but I make it seem like it is. I am not the only one having this problem either, so that makes me feel better.

@valmnz I have done that too, and it does help. I will be starting another one later on as it was something that happend while on my errands. That is about theonly time I ever start a dicussion is when it happened to me.

@rosekiss I find the best thing for me is to read a few other discussions and often this triggers something in my mind.

I need that most of the time. I don't know how some others can have great ideas, and post one discussion after another. I have enough troubhle coming up with one at least oncee a week.

@LadyDuck Yea, I know what you mean. i am lucky if I get one posted once a week. I guess i must live a dull life, as I just never have anything to say much, so I just respond and comment mostly. When I think of a topic, tha others might be interested in, then I post it and hope for the best.

@rosekiss I am unable to post more than one discussion a day. I envy those who can write dozen of discussions and always find something to say.

You are right about that.. all of us have those blank spaces in our minds which opens up when we need to post something.. I can relate to it and I guess most of us would.. so don't you worry about it sweetie.

I wan't going to start any discussion until i thought of something, but since my mind is blank I figured, hey, my mind is blank, and yet it might make for a good discussion, so here we are, blank mind and all.
