Are you passionate about your job?

I never thought I would be passionate about a phone job but I believe I am. Even though I work in a call center, I have the opportunity to really help people and that's what keeps me coming back. When I explain somebody's prescription insurance in such a way that they finally understand it, I get a little thrill. When I hear about an improvement to my systems that lets me serve people better, I'm happy about and I tell everyone around me so they can use it too. I've even saved a life or two, here and there, through my job. I've also solved tough problems that no one else could figure out. Now, after about five years in this position (maybe a few months more than that), there's very little I haven't heard of. That gives me fulfillment. It makes me like my job. If I am really happy because I can finally send pills out with non safety caps on them, so the lovely lady on the other line can open them with her arthritic hands, I guess I can say I have passion in my work! I've reached the point where I'm proud of what I do. I love being in that place. Have you ever had that feeling in a job others would consider menial?

Only when you are passionate you will enjoy what you are doing. Doing it for the sake of doing is equaling to not doing at all.

I would not say I'm passionate about my job, but I want to do well and do my job right. You can tell the difference between people who are there for the job and people who are just there for a paycheck. I'm not just there for the paycheck.

We cannot deny that a phase in our life comes when we find our job getting monotonous. We are the only ones to make our jobs interesting.

I loved working at an Early Childhood Center as a para. Several kids had severe behaviors, but we helped them, and I could not wait to see what would happen every day.

Glad you can do good with your job and help others. My job is very mundane and I kind of just go through he motions since I've been doing it for many years. I do like it, but I am far from passionate about it.

I don't really have a "job" I just do freelance and things online to make money. I enjoy it but wished that it pulled in more money.
