I wish I had a better singing voice. Even if I could stay on key, the tone quality is just not there.
I love listening to good singers. I've been watching "The Voice" (US) and am amazed with the talent, especially Jordan Smith. I think he will be the winner this year.
Can you carry a tune? If not, Do you sing anyway like I do?

Well, I sing all the time, I know quite a variety of songs and can hum the tunes to countless more. Elvis would be jealous in my opinion. The other in my life always shuts herself into a locked room with the pets when I break into song, but what do they know about melody? She asked me if I can hear myself? Does anyone else have that problem?

@Robert57 You've got me laughing! Do the pets ever sing along? I once knew a poodle who could croon with the best of them.

@Sheilamarie78 Haha, My Dog is a talker and indeed he has been known to do a bit of grumbling when i break into verse. But, he's a dog. what does he know?

I think I've got a quite good voice, but I sing only under the shower. I'm very shy and I think i could not sing in public

I can sing, I don't really do it in front of a lot of people though.

I love to sing, though I don't have a powerful or professional voice. I'm happy to sing in church and with friends.

@Dalane Singing brings such joy. Some great singers are not so much those with quality voices but those who put so much of their emotion and soul into a song. I'm thinking of Louis Armstrong, Tom Waits, and Bob Dylan. I also love to listen to opera, too, though.
