That moment when you say "5 more mins"

Italy
November 18, 2015 3:21pm CST
This is a serious problem so far that affects everyone. You can say it for everything and i say it for everything. *the alarm rings* "Hmm 5 more mins" *watching the tv and you are already late* "Just 5 more mins" *awake using the PC and it's very very late* "5 mins and i'll go to bed" I could go on with tons of other examples but the thing is that every single time.... It's never just 5 mins. Don't lie to me, i know that you all do the same...

Haha that is very funny! And so true! Another example is when a girl is getting dressed to go out on a date, and her boyfriend is waiting, and she says "Just five more minutes!" We know good and well that she'll be in there for another hour getting ready and putting on her makeup! Or, when a wife calls her husband at work to ask him when he'll be home, and he says "I'll be home in five minutes." Which means she'll be lucky to see him in an hour!

Hahaha, truth. Whenever I'm procrastinating the "just five more minutes" always gets me! Five minutes suddenly turns into two hours, oops! It's not my fault though.. time is wibbly-wobbly anyways ;)

It's never "five more minutes" it's more like "one more hour".

I do the same thing. Especially when I am on the computer. I will say just five more minutes and than stay longer and longer.

Yeah it's always like this, you say 5 more mins at 11pm and you end up at 1am...

I am just the opposite. I will always be ready 5 minutes early and so those who want 5 more minutes will make me wait 10 minutes

Guilty as charged. I tell myself "Just 5 more minutes of myLotting" when I know I have other work to do but always end up staying longer.

I tend to do that with sleep in the morning. And playing guitar. And writing here, of course.
