What do you like more: posting or interacting?

A lot of websites have the same concept. Someone posts something and then there are interactions with that post. People may simply "like" it and/or they may comment on it and start a discussion about the post. What do you like doing more? Do you like making the initial post more or do like the interacting part more? For me I find it is an easier thing to do to interact with someone about something they have posted than trying to come up with a post. Sometimes I'll want to "talk" but don't know what to say so it's nice having something to work with i.e. someone's post.

I love to post but get a bit discouraged when I see just a few responses. I interact more than posting, though.

@Bellatricks It has nothing to do with being interested but the visibility of a post. I am from India and so our posts are not visible when most of the myLot community is active. Our posts get buried deep down in the people and explore tabs. Also most of my connections have not come back here while those who get many responses are those that are here from Bubblews where their connections have been active.

Some posts get like no response while others I get tons! I guess it depends on what people are really interested in.

I agree, I love the interaction. That's one of the beauties of this site - there's no pressure to post. I just post when I've something to say, not just for the sake of it.

@Bellatricks @sugartoes @antonbunot Even on Bubblews I did the same - only posting 2/3 times a week, but interacting a heck of a lot. It's what I prefer to do anyway.

Well, @jaboUK I love posting. But I understand that if no one comments in our posts, we earn nothing. I understand that we are not paid for posting. So, if no one comments in our posts . . we get 0 earning! I, therefore, made it a point that I would only post one each day . . and devote 3 to 4 hours interacting.

Exactly how I feel! I don't feel the need to post a lot instead I spend more time interacting.

I like posting from the creative point of view, but feel it's important to read other people's posts.

Same here, I like responding more than starting a discussion. It's hard for me to start a discussion.

Yes, sometimes I can't think of anything so it's nice when someone else gets a conversation started.

How about posting just one a day . . and interact all day till you drop due to exhaustion and glare from your monitor? . . I have not tried it. I guess I should today and see what happens!

I prefer to interact, rather than post new discussion myself. I just don't seem to be able to find a topic that gets a lot of responses.

I interact more than I start my own discussions. I also think it's much easier, and in fact some days I just don't feel like writing anything.

It depends on the topic and the comments. I actually like both. I write first then interact first to those who interacted with my discussions.

when I started on Mylot, i was very fond of posting but then I realize that its more fun to interact there are plenty of topics, you can choose your favorite and then continue discussion i am not very good very creativity so i think it is easier for me to choose

I like to interact more. I was looking at my stats, and I comment more than anything else. I don't know why I don't do as many responses as comments. I just get chatty I guess!

I also rather interact but there comes a point that I have to post so others will have a chance to help with opinions. most times I can't sit here long and that's my worst problem

I like doing both almost equally as it helps to stimulate the mind.
