I earned a whole 7 cents on one post here on mylot. It doesn't seem too promising. Honestly, I've been doing pretty good over at Swagbucks. It takes a while, but I try to get $2 a day. That pays a bill every month.
I'm hoping that someone has the mylot secret to making money. I'm interacting as much as possible.
How are you all doing? Making more than 7 cents?

You've got it all wrong. You don't make money for posting a discussion and then sitting back to see who shows up to read it. You make money for interaction. Interaction on your posts, but also on the discussions others post. And responses to discussions, and replies to responses. You have to be involved. As @PhredWreck pointed out, you have a total activity of 7 showing. That's not much. Get involved, read some discussions, comment, discuss.

There is no reliable way that you can tell how much a single discussion will earn you here. Once you have read the Earnings Program FAQs, you may understand a little better. Every post (discussion, response or comment) has a potential for earning but it may not actually earn you anything at all until people interact with it in some way.
Inevitably, you are likely to find that earnings are slow at first. It is only once you begin to make a contribution to the community yourself by interacting with others that people will be likely to want to interact with you.

It has been said that good content that provides a need for people is king on the internet. So if your content answers peoples questions and solves needs and problems you will have no trouble interacting with others.

I made 66 cents, but I need to do more interacting. My freelance writing has been keeping me busy. Once I am finished with my work today, I would like to just sit back and go through the website and interact with my friends on here. :)

You need to interact more or your not going to make anything here. That's how this site works. Interacting is the key your missing...

One post isn't enough!! You have to put in constant effort in discussing and commenting!! I had the same problem at the start but I got the hang of it!! Think of this site as a sharing community. The more you share you views, the more you earn!!
