I have sciatica very bad. The cold weather and rain makes the pain worse. I have been in so such pain, I can not even walk. I am worried because, it really hasn't gotten that cold yet. The colder it gets the more pain I am in. Over the past five years, the pain in my legs and seems to get worse.
I really don't want to get operated on because I am afraid of it. They would have to open my back.
I exercise and stretch sometimes it helps and sometimes it does not.
Does anyone else suffer from sciatica?
My sciatic nerve is pitched in four different places according to the doctor in my lower back two place in my hip and in my legs.
My grandmother also suffered from this sadly she ended up in a wheelchair after they operated on her.

@whiteream I understand how you feel. Keeping my fingers crossed that your homeopathic treatments work for you.

My grandmother ended up in a wheelchair after she had it done. I have a son who needs me so I cannot let that happen. I am trying homeopathic treatments now and I am hoping that they work

Physio therapy helps. As it puts back that nerve where it belogs. I have no such issues but a friend of mine had it and after doing physio therapy she is relieved of that pain.

Oh no I am so sorry to hear that. If you keep yourself warmer will it help? Maybe you could install a new heating system in your home. Good luck!

I am usually fine, inside the house. But, I do go outside and walk the dog. It is good too move if you can. I have foot warmers for my shoes and they help sometimes. It is just bothering me that every year it seems to come on sooner and the pain seems to get worse. I do have pain even when it is warm so times. This years is the first time, I actually just had to lay down and rest because the hurt that bad.
