Rude, rude, and rude! When you send a text message to someone you expect them to text back right? Well in most cases they do if they are not busy or actually want to talk to you.
There is two people in my address book on my phone that I send text messages to and either they wont respond for hours (we are talking maybe 8 hours) or they don't respond at all. Then if they send me a text message and pull that on them it's I am being distant or short. Double standards!
One of the people I am talking about is the guy I wrote that post about (YOU) sometimes he can be such a jerk!
I am going to tuck my phone away today while at work and not glance at it, I dont want the urge!
Any ofyou ever have this problem?

See that is more common not to answer the phone but not answering a text for a whole day or two, plain rude! You mean to tell me that you are so busy the entire day you cant send one text saying I will talk to you later, I believe that takes a total of 5 seconds to do.

Oh, don't even get me started on such people!! It really bugs me!!
there is this friend of mine from my college!! She will never text me or anyone, but when we will text her, she will reply by saying, "Oh, so you finally got the time for a friend!!" AAAHHH It bugs me so much!!!

I've had issues with people never responding, never coming around, etc. Basically one-sided friendships. I'll only put in the effort so long before I finally just move on. I realized I was happier focusing on the people who actually care. And yeah, the double-standards thing is annoying. People shouldn't expect someone else to put in the effort if they're not going to do the same.

I completely agree!! I think it is only a matter of time before I tell him to buzz off or just not respond to him anymore if he texts me

I honestly don't have the time in my life anymore to waste on people who don't want to respond to me. If they don't respond then I won't contact them any longer.

This is something that I should do as well but I have done that in the past. I have excused someone that was in my life for a long time and then I later really regretted it

I feel like the topic was not in need of an urgent response. I don't get too stressed about it but it bothers me that this man says he likes me and cares but then acts the opposite

@Castlerock34 oh my goodness, storey of my life! I am so bad with guys, but this gets me too. I try to be cool like, maybe he is busy, maybe he is asleep, maybe he is in the bathroom. Arg, I drive myself crazy trying to figure it out? I currently have no "he" to text. If a guy says he cares, then he better show me with his words AND actions. Otherwis,e, I just move on and figure he really only wanted that thing guys are after. Is that awful?

Ugh I hate it, My cousin Jenny is my bestfriend and she is horrible when it comes to texts, she answers my whatsapp messages 6 hours later or the next day!

I normally call people if they don't answer their texts or If I am driving. They have now made a law here where if you are caught texting and driving you get fined, which is awesome. It is about time. I see way too many people texting and driving.

Occasionally a non reply is caused by lack of battery or coverage.
