A Gray & Dreary Day

Waking up to a dull, gray, dreary day just makes me want to stay in bed and sleep. However, like most of us, I don't have that luxury. So, after having my first cup of coffee and jogging my brain into some sort of functioning capacity I figured it's a great day to spend catching up with all my friends here in the virtual world. Who knows....maybe I'll sneak in a nap this afternoon. Being retired a nap is one luxury I can indulge in!! What's up in your little corner of the world?

we only have sun and rain, but i think i would prefer a cold sunny day than cold, rainy and gray.

Its been a cloudy day here too. Its turned awfully windy, and that wind has a cold bite to it. I don't mind autumn and I don't mind winter, its the autumn turning into winter that I don't like. I hold out and don't wear my winter coat until I really have to, so my thinner coat is not as warm. I'll probably have to get out the winter coat on the weekend.

It is cloudy and rainy here today as well in FL. I just got done with doing my kids school work for the day. They got a lot accomplished so I am pleased. =)

Bills and a dentist, other than that, everything is great. I love the luxury of taking a nap in the afternoon. Retirement is fun! Remember how we fought against those naps as kids?

Mine is similar to yours. its raining but not hard, the hubs took off to a job today and will be back Monday so I'm on vacation - that's what I say every time he leaves. I do only what I want to do when I want to do it....its all about me.
