Yesterday or day before yesterday i posted about renovation of our house in regards of paint. But today our living room furniture which includes sofa set and centre tables have gone for replacement with new ones.My mother in law is aiming to give a new look to their sitting area with some texture paint too. Do you like replacement of furnitures and strive to get a new look?

We had half of our windows replaced, a new paved driveway and a new garage door. Next week we will have a new furnace installed. Money, money.

I had the water pipes and the bell this month, plus the outside garden job. As you say: money, money

I like the furniture that we have so we're not changing that. We did get a window replaced. That made our house look better and now there is less cold air coming in from the outside.

@amnabas Winter is coming in pretty strong now. The nights are really cooling into way below freezing.

My furniture does not need complete replacement except for a couple of chairs that need some upholstery work. Unfortutly I have to leave that for the future as other home improvements have come along.

I am throwing out all of our furniture when we move. Most of it is over forty years old.

It is nice to change things around from time to time.

Alas, furniture is not that important to me, as long as it's relatively clean. If i lived in a larger space, I'd be torn between Eames/Danish Modern and a more deep, dark wood, Romantic era look.
