How old do you feel?

It can be physically, mentally, emotionally - whatever!
Physically, there are days where I swear I'm 92. Others (if I've eaten right and stretched) I could be 15 and run a marathon.
Mentally, I think I'm a bit above my age bracket. I've always felt a bit older than my peers no matter what age I was, and often had friends 2-3 years older than me.
Emotionally, I'm about the same. I have a good toolkit to draw from and react to situations pretty well, though in my younger years I was constantly anxious, panicky, and withdrawn. Certain life events make you stronger!
So do you feel like a chipper dippy young lad, or a wizened old crone? ;)

That is good news haha :) I think always feeling a bit like a kid keeps you younger anyways!

Holy cow, cycling 100 miles a week is quite intense, your legs must be steel! That's great you feel mentally ahead and are pretty Zen too, both great things to be :)

@chelseaearnsmore Yep those legs of mine are pretty solid Best thing about all that cycling though is being out in nature and destressing on the way to and from work.

@mrtoffee That's great! One of my favorite things to do is go hiking - there are some beautiful areas where I am with some pretty stellar scenery. Nature is one of my best destressors.. even just a walk around the neighborhood helps.

While mentally I am still in my teens physically no matter how hard I try my bones remind me that I need to go slow.

It's how you feel on the inside that really counts! :)

@chelseaearnsmore That sounds cool Chelsea. I would have to get something like that for reading, next year.

I personally love my glasses.. they're burgundy and have roses on the "arms." You can get some pretty cute ones nowadays! I need to update mine, actually.. I have the new script, just haven't been able to pick out a new pair because I'm in love with my old ones haha.

Age is a number. It is not always relevant. As my sister says. Who is that old lady that jumps in front of me when I am at a mirror.

I don't know what it is like to feel like a young lad. a young lass maybe! Mostly ( I am mid 60s) I feel pretty fit.
Some days though when I have had to be on my feet for hours, it feels as if I am walking on knives and I feel dreadful.

Haha a young lass indeed :) That's wonderful that you feel fit and fine more often than not! However, I think everyone has those days when the feet are on fire and all you want to do is curl up with a blanket to relax. When I worked for a photography company I was up and about all day and by the end of my shift I'd be praying to go home and take my shoes off.

I understand what you mean.. when I really struggled with fibromyalgia I felt like I was 100, and that was when I was 25! I could barely get out of bed to go to work. But then I really fixed up my habits, stopped taking a lot of meds prescribed to me, and felt 100x better! I feel very fortunate to have gone from feeling so old all the time to feeling pretty good :)
