War..what is it good for?

I think we should use as much responsibility for how wars should be conducted as we use in our automobile purchases. Wouldn't it be significantly more mature and wiser to go with a cheaper model, or how about paying the first one off before we get in a bind?

Long back I watched an Episode of Star Trek TOS where two planets fought wars over Computers (just as we play a war game). The damage caused was physically attended to by killing the number of people who perished in the game (or rather the Computer War Game). People of the two planets had matured enough to realize the actual damages done by a war were more hazardous and catastrophic - so they willingly stepped into the Gas Chambers. The two planets were all good with their theory... but as always, human intervention happened and the theories of Life and Love for life destroyed their ways. They never showed what happened after that intervention... and my belief is that the human intervention destroyed the two planets.
I loved the idea though. Come to think of it. No destruction and major damages done and whatever be the result of the war, the Environment remains safe. The people who survive always have almost everything in abundance.
I know they are not going to like me post this as a response to the discussion, but then, I have written what I realized is/was good for the Planet. However, my personal opinion is that there should be no war... and that is somewhere too much to think of.... in the present day and the days ahead scenario.

Auto purchases are so run of the mill now days. Cars aren't that big of a deal anymore.

Nice analogy. I like that. I agree. I think we should send Bush the bill for the last war and have his family pay it off with their own money. That sounds fair to me. Why should us tax payers pay the bill for their stupidity. I think in addition to this, we should all stop paying taxes. What, are they going to put everyone in jail? LOL.

@Rosekitty Thanks. I figured that would be a good thing to do. I wonder if Bush got that bill if he would pay it. Not. LOL. He was too stupid to understand that he was even president. See, that goes to show you that anyone can be president.

sometimes there are factors, like my hubby is super tall, just under 7 feet, so we had to get a truck that cost more than I wanted so he could have a vehicle that actually fit him to be in most things he has to twist all up in. but I hate the payments

I am lost! I could not figure out how to connect war and buying a car, brand new or used! But war right now is the only option for the west and their allies . . because they are fighting the devil (ISIS) headed by a satan.

@antonbunot ..It seems to be easier for Government officials to start wars more than buying a car..Wars are expensive and it was a play on words..cheaper..

@Rosekitty O, yeah . . war is easy to start . . just let those jet bombers take off and drop clusters of bomb on target or away from intended target . . easy. But buying a car is not that easy coz you have to talk to your bank and if your credibility is tampered by credit bureaus . . No car . . NADA!
