What is your favourite fruit(s) and why?

Fruit, what can be said of such a food? So many different types of fruit, anything from: berries, to melons, to kiwi, to pineapple, to apple, to peaches, to pears, etc etc. There really is such an abundance of this often sweet, delicious, supple food. For me, this is so hard to pick! I am going to pick 3 different fruits, because it is too tough for me to pick a single one at this time... So I will go with: peaches, strawberries, and passion fruit.

My favorite fruit is pineapple. My second favorite fruit is watermelon. They are all sweet and juicy. This is why I enjoy eating them, especially in hot summer.

@mawdest I agree. The watermelon with seeds seem to be sweeter and healthier. As they are much more natural.

Yes, pineapple is so good, and watermelon very great as well. Excellent choices! The thing about watermelon I do not like is all the seeds, though I know you can buy seedless, but the ones with seeds seem to taste better or something!

I like most all fruits I guess my first would be Pineapple I love them and bananas and peaches and all of them really. So I am not sure if I have a favorite because I like them all

Heh, I know how you feel.. It really is too hard to choose isn't it! That is/was how I feel as well but I just kind of went ahead and chose anyways. But yes, I love pineapple a lot as well, and banana, so classic!

I like bananas. grapes and apples.. In season strawberries and sometimes kiwi fruits.

I love star fruit but only when I lived in florida and could get them ripe. UP where I live in Indiana now they are not as good in the stores.

Much appreciated :) By the way, key lime pie is delicious, I can only imagine that this "star fruit" would probably taste quite good, and make an excellent addition to an already great pie! I like jack fruit, because it is the king and biggest of any fruit and it is in my yard also Lol

Yesss! I love jack fruit! I was just thinking about it as I was reading through the answers, wondering if someone was going to say it, and low and behold you just said it, thank you! I have only ate it a few times before in my life, but it is very delicious!

You are right it is hard to pick a favorite fruit, but as long as they are fully ripe I will go with peaches. It is hard to beat a good peach.

Yes, it is hard to choose isn't it! Also, good choice, even though I may have a slight bias (since I also chose peach as one of my favourites), nonetheless good point, the peach has to be just perfectly ripe for sure!

I like fruits that have little seeds in them like strawberries and raspberries, I just enjoy eating those kind.

Me too! Something about the seeds make it fun, doesn't it!? Do not know what it is.. But I definitely agree with you, wholeheartedly! I almost chose raspberries over strawberries, it was close, but it really is hard to choose 3!
