Insomniacs of the World - Goodnight

Newcastle Upon Tyne, England

It was late when I got home. I had a light sandwich and a cup of decaf tea, and I went to bed at about 1.00 am. After reading a page or two of my book, I was out as quickly as my bedside lamp. At 4.27 am I woke up. I tossed and turned until 5.30, when I switched on the radio to listen to the news headlines. At six o'clock I gave up the ghost and came downstairs. I've had some toast and a cup of tea, and I'm going to try again to sleep. I've never known so many people say they have trouble sleeping. Are you one of them? Goodnight.

I am one of them. Never force yourself to sleep. It will never let you sleep. On the contrary, it will stress you up even more.

I drink decaf tea as well. But after 6pm I only drink water or hot choc or milk. Decaf tea will still keep you awake. Well it does me anyway.Hope your sleep pattern sorts itself out soon.

Scientists say that playing with a tablet or computer before you go to bed isn't good for your sleep.
