And Still No Sign of Winter!

Not that it would look like this picture if it did arrive here in Florida. As crazy as the weather has been, however, I am not sure it would even surprise me if it DID look like this for a change.
I think it was 82 here today, and yesterday we had a little rain. Usually rain means cooler weather, but not this time. We are still using our air conditioners down here, which probably makes the energy company, Duke, very happy.
I am not complaining. Or, maybe I am. I love the cooler weather, and I would like to see some before Spring arrives!

Well, yes, when the cold hits, were just like a bunch of babies. If it's 40 degrees, we all run around like we're dying, with coats on like Nanuk of the North.

@ThankyouLord I think if I lived there I would be doing the same. I am not use to very cold weather and what we call our winters is what you would call early summer in a lot of places.

@ThankyouLord Yes I guess that is an excellent way of putting it. There you are eased into one season after another like the hands turn on a clock. Here we just jump from our wet season to our dry season. But now we are in our wet season this is also the hot season of the year here on the island. What is great about tropics is it seems we can go fro a week or so with a lot of sun and heat and then all of a sudden nature knows when to drop some rain on us to cool us off.

Well here today it's in the upper 40's wich isn't too odd for here this time of year. But it's amazing how our weather here can flip sometimes as last week we were getting 7in of snow and it's all melted away. However, we will spend most of january thru march praying for old man winter to disappear.

Some places around have gotten snow but i'm in ny and still have not gotten snow. We do have a snow advisory for the weekend but so far nothing. I would love to be in 82 degree weather right now

I was also expecting cold by this time in this part of world, but is is still hot and I think global warming is one of the reason behind this.
