Weekend Off from Bricks and Mortar World

I don't have to work at the shop this weekend, so I can get caught up at home a bit. The job itself isn't that hard, but I have to figure out how to compensate for 30 hours away. While it's nice to have some money coming in, it's not enough to let me slack off other places.

It's just 30 hours away from home. Not a big deal. My job takes up nearly 11 hours of my time every day, including traveling time. Sometimes I have to stay back for an hour or two, so it makes for 13 hours of absence. I just have to get used to sticky floor by the middle of the week.

@Sheilamarie78 Actually I can remember putting in hours like that. I had an hour commute each way and then I came home to a busy family.

That's 30 hours less being at home making the place messy.

I'm not very messy, but I have a lot of things I want to do to make money online.

@NeldaHoxie I'm sure your regular job pays far better than anything you could be doing online for 30 hours a week.

@katsmeow1213 Not true. I have affiliate marketing sites and they do quite well. It was fine until I had five major operations in three years along with 7 hospitalizations for infections. Now we have a staggering amount of bills to pay.

That is an issue for many of us @NeldaHoxie It would be great to do everything from home so we can do 10 things at once!

Even so, You wouldn't make that much online -- that was my first response, but I remember that you actually do make a good amount online according to your other posts. I envy you that ability.

Oddly enough, I found when I worked, it forced me to get more organized with my free time to get my other online activities sorted out. Be patient with yourself. At first, I needed to build in recuperation time. Nap time. I think it's nice to have some steady income trickle in. That's fantastic.

It's tough to work outside of your home and try to keep everything in order at home, plus doing some online work.
