Is an atheist afraid of ghosts?

@Irving35 I don't think so. An atheist is someone who doesn't need a god or gods to explain what they can't perceive with their senses. I see no reason for them to be more or less likely to believe in ghosts. The person you describe is more of a scientist or a rationalist.

I have an acquaintance who is a true atheist, no he doesn't believe in anything supernatural.
He defines these type of thing as "natural phenomenon yet to be explained by science"
Or the person experiencing these things are experiencing simple hallucinations.

@Irving35 There is a type of schizophrenia that has full blown hallucinations of people, voice etc.. to the patient they are having a "super natural moment", for the doctors they are having an episode. I'd say a good % of these "super natural moments" are from hallucinations.
But obviously there's always that 1% we can't explain it yet.

I don't see how an Atheist would believe in ghosts if they don't believe in God or gods, they deny all things supernatural, and ghosts are considered to be supernatural entities.

i beleive in ghost because i saw them and most interesting thing is that i make them friends in my dream.so i believe on that thing which i saw.they are also good and bad types but who visited in my dream are good so i made them friends.

@Irving35 i don't believe in god but i am living with god who are my parents so i not go for temple or worship place while i am living with my parents.
