What a gloomy little day it has been so far. We can tell it is officially November now with that kind of gloom.
We were luck for a few days as the weather was warmer than a typical November but now we are facing reality.
I don' like it one bit, even if November is my birthday month, I do not like this eleventh month of the year.
My two favorite months are May and June.
What are your preferred month?

I love July as we have many family members born then and so we always have a big birthday party for them

Today experienced a drastic change in weather here in England as well. After a few weeks of comfortable temperatures but miserable cloud cover and drizzle, we had a bright day with clear sky but extremely cold. I must say that I prefer the cold to the rain because thawing out is easier than trying to dry out.

@marlina My worst experience of the year was in June. I was on holiday in Tunisia and at 6-30 AM on my day of return I sat outside the hotel in glorious sunshine with my coffee. I flew back to Manchester later that morning and on my arrival I bought a coffee and strolled outside to encounter torrential rain. A rather depressing welcome home.

I wish we would get some snow here in FL. My birthday is tomorrow-and in NC (where I used to live) I loved the weather this month brought. Being down here, it's too hot for me! So, November was one of my favorite months and my other favorite month is usually April. =)

Two of the greatest people in the world were born in November. You, and me.

we finally have stayed cool, the cool that feels seasonal, not the odd storm blowing through

It was very cold and rainy today. I didn't really want to go out but went to a Christian meeting this morning and then out to lunch with friends. I was glad to get home and turn on my pellet stove and warm up the house. My birth month is October and it really is my favorite month as the hot summer is gone and winter hasn't started YET. The leaves are beautiful in October and the mornings and evenings are cool and breezy, usually.
November is still usually not too bad here in Virginia, but it was very cold and rainy today. Part of that storm system that is coming across the country from the West, I guess. Hopefully, it will clear out of here and we will have some warmer, sunnier days before winter really starts.

April, I think, but sometimes we have glorious weather despite the month or season.

September/October are good for us too - warm weather, very little rain but not too hot.
