The Spyder Who Came in From the Cold

I found this spider earlier in the year lurking in the sink in the shed, ready to pounce on unsuspecting victims. Usually spiders in my home get the vacuum cleaner treatment but this individual got lucky and was treated as royalty as I had a Steve Irwin moment and decided to pick it up. It even sat on my hand as I raced indoors to find my smartphone to take its photo! If you live in a country where winter is coming and temperatures are starting to drop, this is not a good time for arachnophobes as our hairy legged friends decide to take their vacation indoors and come in out of the cold.....
