A Gorgeous But Cold Start To The Day

Good Sunday morning/afternoon/evening to everyone. It's morning here and I woke up to a very cold 28 degrees outside. It was time to break out the heavy coat to take the dogs out to do their business. While I was out, I could hear geese honking off in the distance and the crows cawing. If it wasn't so cold, it would be a beautiful day as the skies are a gorgeous blue with no clouds.
Yesterday we opened up 2 of our rooms in our apartment to Daisy (our puppy). Previously she was only allowed in the kitchen, living room and dining room which are all connected. She has been so good lately that we opened up the office and my brother's room. I haven't opened my room up yet as I have things in there that I don't want her into.
Now I can go back to using my computer in the office which I am so happy about. Daisy is in here right now, rolling around on the floor. I really need to take a picture of her and Bella side by side so everyone can see just how much she has grown. She is five months old and is a few inches shorter than Bella in height and length. She doesn't weigh as much and isn't as muscular as Bella but that's because she is a mini dachshund not a standard like Bella is. Daisy now sleeps through the night until about 6am and will even go into her crate at night on her own.
My brother is going to make meatloaf for dinner tonight. I am very picky about whose meatloaf I will eat and I love his. I am also going to make some peanut butter fudge. I have been craving fudge lately.

It's Monday now. After I exercise, get dressed and have breakfast, I think I will go to Trader Joe's for some fresh fruit. I'm down to apples and tangerines only. Not enough variety for me. It's still pretty warm here, about fifty degrees warmer than at your house. Keep warm.

Fresh fruit sounds amazing! I have been craving watermelon and you know that's out of season right now...lol. I would love to live somewhere where it has a moderate temperature all year round. Not to hot and not to cold. I don't think there is such a place.

@simone10 My goal when I retired was to live where it is always 65F to 85F, but that does not exist. However, along the coast in South Orange County, CA comes very close.

Oh you just reminded me that I bought some peanut butter fudge on vacation and I need to put it away. It was a cold and sunny day here.

@simone10 It certainly is anytime, but especially when it is cold outside. We are due for some cold weather the next few nights, and I am not looking forward to that at all. I won't get out., that is for sure. We are going to be belwo freezing in the 20's the next few nights. I will be glad when it wams back up again, which it is supposed to after the weekend.

We have a cold wave coming in this morning--it will go all the way down to 71 degrees!!! Better than Wisconsin!!
