When I wrote my posts about dogs and Christmas I realized I forgot an important part of the family. How could I not mention the cat in the family. They are definitely an important part of our lives.
They also deserve the pampering and petting, the stockings, gifts, and treats at Christmas time.
So, in honor of all of our kittens, cats, and fur babies I am showing a simple backstitch purrfect to use to make an ornament guaranteed to delight any cat lover.

@jillybean1222 I used to have a cat named Psycho who would try to sleep in our Christmas tree. He would be ok until he actually fell asleep. He would fall out with a loud plop on the floor. I lost more ornaments that way.

I was a bit tight on money this Christmas..so sadly kitty got a bit overlooked. I think I will give him some tuna for Valentines Day though. The little guy deserves it!

I agree! I have both a dog and a cat and they are both pampered and loved, not only on Christmas, but all year round. They are both very special creatures! Part of the fun on Christmas is buying for my pets.

@MichelleBwriting I am surprised at how many people have both a dog and cat. I have slways had both. They are equally loved and spoiled.
