This little saying tends to be true for a large number of people this time of year. It used to be true for me too. It has become a thing of the past for me. When my children were small I would go out and buy everything in sight for them. I would then find myself paying for it the rest of the year. As they grew up I became smarter. I stopped buying all of that stuff and settled on an item they really wanted. I am happily debt free and am determined to stay that way. I still love this little saying.

I am one that likes to save money but it can be hard. Xmas is coming up which will make matters worse!
