Have You Started Writing Christmas Cards Yet?

At work on Saturday one of my work mates stated they are going to start writing Christmas cards this weekend and it made me think that I am slightly behind on the Christmas plans!
I have yet to buy presents or even buy xmas cards!
I don't tend to send xmas cards anymore, maybe I will start again this year.

There was a time when I did many cards. Now, I only send them out to people I know, i am not going to see during the season.

@whiteream I agree. I was never really interested in sending cards either to be honest.

@gudheart It's kind of becoming a lost art. It cost too much to send cards now a days.

No I haven't. i really don't sen all that many cards out anyway. I just don't get them like I used to. I think with the price of postage keepi goind up, most people just don't bother with them anymore. As fr as gifts, i just give money or gift cards, which makes it easier too. I used to buy when our family was altogether, but with our daughter in another state, it just doesn't seem all that much fun anymore.

@JudyEv I just stopped sending them, as the postage is going higher and higher, and I need to conserve as much as possible. I usuallyu buy Christmas stamps, but I stopped that too, as I ended up not using them all during Christmas, and would end up using them after the New Year. It just makes sense to sen them online than send them by snail mail.

I'm still waiting for mine to be delivered from India, then I shall write them. I love writing and receiving Christmas cards. We received our first one last week. Far too early!

I've not started anything yet to do with Christmas. no cards, no presents,
I hear the 24th a good day to start, 24th December lol.

@gudheart Gone on it would be fun, I'm sure. No post Christmas day though, ok maybe 23rd? would that be a better day?

i haven't sent christmas card people throw them away don't send you one back it almost seems pointless. Now I don't mind if it is an ecard those are free to make and send. There are a few people that we do send them too but its not all the time either.
