I was just telling someone that there are posts that telling someone online about there being posts you can comment in that tells them how to get ahold of their posts on the site that closed their doors you could find your writings and posts.

@kimberleyclar Thats so true cause they should beable to recover their writing i'm sure they hold alot of inspiration for the members.

Thanks Peggy! Let's hope people can recover some of their work. I was only on there for a small while - I feel bad for the people who put a lot of effort in.

Thanks Arthur - I'm so pleased that I got my work back - I'd only been there for a few weeks! I feel for the people who stuck with the site for years.

It's good advice for those who need it, but sadly some posts seem to already be gone forever. I'm luckier than most because I learnt long ago to save everything I published there. I may still try to reread some of the comments I received though if I can spare the time.

@kimberleyclar I learnt that lesson after my first missing payment. I was afraid that if I complained too much they might delete my account so I made copies of all my posts first. It's a habit that I've stuck to ever since. Oh, and they never did delete my account.

Yes you make a good point. A lot of the fun in Bubblews was in the comments. And good on you, for always saving your writing! That is a lesson learned for me!

Yes! It is only fair...I just wonder about the people who were hoping to cash in...I had 23 cents so can't complain!
