Making Plans

We have a full week ahead of us, so we've been finalizing our plans. There's a lot to be done here.
My sister and I will be driving up to Ohio and back on Tuesday. It will be a short trip, but it will be a fun girl day.
Everyone will be doing their own things for Thanksgiving, but then we will gather back at my sister's house to celebrate the holiday on Friday.
We have been discussing the menu and have been looking at some different recipes. It seems as though we have exactly the same things every year. We are looking at some recipes that will keep it traditional yet provide a change.

have a nice trip and enjoy Friday with fun girl,nice thing to prearranging for thanksgiving.so whats you decide for recopies for thanksgiving and try to different from country or just different method for food.if you want to try some Indian dishes then please tell me i will share with you.

Thanks @Hatley . I've been looking at dishes on Pinterest and some other sites and we have found some different recipes for the veggies we all love.

Thanksgiving, with us, is all about family. It's just a time for gathering together and just having a good meal and enjoying a peaceful relaxing time with each other. We will be having the very traditional meal of turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, etc. Hopefully we'll be finding some different things to do with the side dishes this year. We all love to cook and we all end up in the kitchen together. It makes for a fun day.
