My account got suspended at a ptc site

I went to log in to one of the few ptc sites I have been doing for awhile, and lo and behold, I couldn't log in because they said I violated the terms of servec and am using a poroxy server
I don't even know what that is, so why would I be using it? The thing of it is, I had cashed out early in the week, and still hadn't received the $5 I earned, and now, that my account has been suspended, I probably won't get it either.
It just goes to show that some really can't be trusted even after a few years, as they are accusing me of something that isn't true. I am not able to even contact them either, to let them know what is going on. i sure would if I could, as I would like to get what I earned.
I guess I will just have to chalk it up, and realize that maybe I didn't need it anyway. I still have a few others that I am doing, that I like better anyway. It just stinks to be accused of using a proxy server, when I know I am not, at least I don't think so anyway.

Well, that stinks. sorry to hear it. The up side is, you won't be wasting your time there anymore.
Simply go to your internet connections and see if the boxed 'proxy server' is checked or not.

Oh okay. I didn't know how to check, so I will have to check that. The thing of it is, I have been doing that everyay for a long time, and never got that message, and now it happens. I just don't umderstand it at all, that if it is true, why I didn't get the message sooner.

@rosekiss Sounds like a sad excuse if you ask me. Have you accessed this site via your IPhone and a different location that might be on a 'proxy server'?

That is when you make an indirect network connection to other network services. One place I did asked me why I had different IPO addresses and I told them I have a desktop and a laptop and they were happy with that. I use the computer at work sometimes and that would be another IPO address. Very mixed up.They should have asked you. Not just blocked you.

@TexanTornado I checked to see if I had prozy server checked and it isn't. In fact I don't think it has ever been. It is totally confusing to me for sure.

I agree, but seems so many sites now days are eager to block/ban/suspend accounts. But it said a proxy server, not different ISPs.

I was able to find the email address to support and I told them that the suspension shouldn't have happened, and that the way they handled the siutation just isn't right. I am hoping they get back to me, but doubtful they will. I am not going to give up hope though.

@simone10 They haven't yet, and it has been a few days. I am not sure that they will, since they haven't yet. I don't need any site that will not reach out to me and want to know my side, instead of thinking I was wrong in the first place. I will just tell others about them, and what they have done to me.

That is such a shame. I heard that so many of these sites will do this to people. You can earn once from them and the second time they refuse to pay you and suspend your account. This is a total rip off to anyone who worked so long to get the 5 bucks.

I have been paid by them many times, so this whole thing just boggles my mind. I ever violated the TOS like they said, and I emailed support to let them know they were wrong. I don't know what they are going to say, but I hope they get back with me. Even, then, I can't guarantee, that they are going to reinstate me. If they don't I will tell others about them and make them miserable.

@just4him I checxked mine and it is disabled, but I suppose I will have to check it periodically to make sure that it stays that way. I don't want any other sites saying the same thing, and suspending my account. I am just hoping that the site will be willing to reinstate me and pay me, and I will make sure that the proxy server is always disabled.

@rosekiss That's good then. I knew nothing about proxy servers until I got a message on my Internet browser about not being connected to the proxy server. It took a long time to figure it out. Now I know when the browser doesn't load right I need to disable it again.

There used to be so many of them about that did this one of the reasons I do not have them any more because they where ripping People of and I don't think that there are many about any more
I hope that maybe they will give you your Money but like you I believe they won't sorry this happened to you

I am too, but I am just going to take it in stride, and if I am meant to have it, I will get it and if not, I won' That is the way I look at it anyway. God will take care of it, that I have no doubt.

I never viiolated the TOS, and I emailed them and told them so. I have been very loyal to them and never caused trouble, and I told them what they did wasn't right and that they could have said something or asked me before suspending me. I hope they get back with me, but not sure they will, and not sure they will reinsate me either.

Many sites just decide to do that and no one gets an opportunity to explain. You can do more here now and enjoy more.

Yes, you are right. It did take me a little time there, and now that I can't do it anymore, I can still do the others I have, and here. I definitely like it here better, than any other site. I love it here so that isn't a problem.

It sounds the same to me too. i didn't do anything wrong, and yet, i got suspended anyway. i have emailed them, but doubtful they will ever get back to me, which is sad too. only time will tell what will happen.

Yes, I am a member of clixsense, and have been paid several times. The site that suspended me had always paid me when I asked for it, but this time, instead of gettting what I earned, I got suspended. I still am puzzzled about it too, as they have paid me before without any problems at all. I have emailed them, but have heard nothing. More than likely I won't either.

oh no how annoying for you. I use a Clix site but I fell a bit out of love with it. Takes so long to earn. Hopefully if you explain they might reinstate you.

I can't do anything, as I am banned from the site. I can't even log in or do anything. I can bring it up, but when I go to log in, then I get the account suspended message. I can't even contact support, as I have to log in to do that too.

@SavvySprite I was finally able to email support and let them know my side of things, but I still haven't heard anything. I think they are ignoring me, and I probably won't hear from them either. It is sad, but it does happen more times than not. I don't need them anyway, it seems. I have others that I do, that I have no problem with at all.
