What a Surprise

I woke up this morning and did what I do every morning, let the dogs out, shower, dress, feed the dogs then feed myself.
I went on the computer and to my surprise I had no Internest Connection, same with the TV and even my Cell phone.
I called my provider and they said that there are a number of towers that are connected and one of them had a problem, they were waiting on a part which should be there between noon and 2 pm and it should not take long to install that part so we should be up by 2:30 pm.
They are pretty much on the money as it came back up before 3 pm.
Now I am a happy Camper again.

That is for sure as i had been holding off rearranging some things on a table and I did that and a few other things then I read some in my book.

Mmmh it disrupts the day and you start rearranging how to make use of the time you had planned to be on the computer

We have become so dependant of the Internet, the phone anda lot of things that once were luxuries. When I was a child we would have energy cuts once in a while, specially in Winter. My mother had a kerosene lamp and we seated around the dining room table and she recited poems to us. Now I almost went crazy after the earthquake in February 27, 2010, because I did not have electricity for almost 3 days. Fortunatly I have a gas range but I had to throw away most of the frozen seafood as I dared not eat it.

Hello. long time no see :D
oh my, it sounds like a nightmare to me. to lose an internet connection makes me want to flip the table! *flips the table* oopps... *unflips the table*
I had such experience for 12 days straight, I felt very upset and stressed...for the early 3 days. the rest of that time, I spend my time to actual interact with my friends. you see, visiting their house and and interacting with their family. so what I concluded, there is always something good in everything.
though, when I got my internet back, yayyyyy got my lifestyle back. hahaha

It's crazy how much we have come to depend on the Internet. As an older person, I'm not quite as addicted to it as some younger people I know. But, I find myself a bit upset when I can't get on the computer and do what I want to do, when I have the time to do it.

Wow that is a good response, when I was with BT my internet wouldn't work it took them 3 weeks to fix it. By then I had gotten fed up and switched providers, the fixed it 2 days before Sky took over the line x

I thing you can do is tell them since they were down for 3 weeks you don't have to pay for that period of time as they did not provide you with what they had agreed on.

@Marcyaz No I think BT is but I'm not certain. BT own all the phone lines anyway. I was having to pay for temporary internet from Bt which was the disgusting part about it. It cost me about £90 all together. And now they are trying to charge me for leaving. I'll never use them again that is for sure x
