Last night me and Stewart went to go see Newton Faulkner in Concert in Bournemouth.
We haven't been to a concert in ages, at least 3 years, I bought the tickets for his birthday but to be honest it was just as much for me as it was for him.
We did have tickets to see him a few years ago but he cancelled due to sickness, which would have been fine it we weren't already on our way to the venue two hours away from home when we found out.
Anyway we went to the concert yesterday and it was amazing, he was so good and had great stage presence he interacted really well with the audience and was really funny.
He sang a lot of songs from his new album which we are not too fussed on as it's a bit more mainstream and dancy than his usual stuff but it all sounded great live, he sang loads of his older stuff too and when he sang dream catch me the entire crowd went crazy he could have just stood their and everyone would have just sang the song for him.
I love live music and don't get to go enough but I am really going to try to go more.
If you could see one artist alive or gone who would it be ?

I went to something similar in Folkestone a few years back (on the worst holiday of my life) the show was great the only good thing about the place we stayed. I love all sorts of live entertainment, like you say you can't beat the atmosphere x

@shellyjaneo We have concerts on our property. We call them 'house' concerts but in the summer they're outside. Only 100 people who bring chairs and picnics and the acts aren't big names but it's always a great atmosphere. The musicians get the gate money less expenses and usually stay with us overnight.

@JudyEv That sounds fab you can't beat small concerts, there's always such good spirit at small ones, and it's a great way too hear music you may not have heard otherwise x

I'm not really sure who I'd go and see ...bellow head maybe. I'm quite into them at the moment. Or Bon Jovi for old times sake.

I've never heard Bellowhead, I will check them out out of curiosity. I went to see Bon Jovi for my 14th Birthday in the Millennium Stadium it was amazing, 70,000 people the complete opposite of the Newton Faulkner gig but something I will never forget x
