Goldfish are Smart!

On Saturday, I got two little fancy goldfish for my aquarium. I like watching fish swim around, but never really thought of them having any brains. However, I realize that these gold fish are actually very smart! I feed them twice a day, and already they notice when people come near the tank, and they swim to whatever side of the tank we are standing near, and then start swimming up to the top to look for food. That's only after one day, because they were doing it yesterday too! It is just so cute, that such little fish actually can learn so fast!

Aww, that's so cute! I can definitely relate to having smart fish. Over the years I've had all kinds and they DO have some personalities, too! Fish are great fun to watch, I should think about getting another one soon, haha. I bet they'll continue to surprise you :)

I'd like to get a variety of tropical fish, but right now I only have an unheated tank, so Goldfish are the only cold water fish I could get. I'm looking forward to a lot more surprises from them, LOL! They are sooooo cute!

@connierebel Keeping tropical fish is hard work from what I've heard, I've never tried but I wish you luck when you can have them! Goldfish are wonderful though, enjoy the fun!
