Computer Problems Resolved, Now to Write

Well, it's the best we could do, and I'm happy with it. Three computers - a desk top, an old lap top and my current lap top. I removed Google Chrome from all three. I did MalwareBytes scans on all three. The old lap top was too smart and wouldn't let it scan so I am living with that old computer that I only use for one or two things without Google Chrome. I'm using IE but may download Firefox. I've never used it before. Google Chrome is back on my current lap top and the desk top and everything is running well again. I'm happy with that. And things are running quicker too. Let's hope everything continues to run smoothly. The urge to get back to my novel is getting stronger and I can't do it with infected computers. Now I just have to push myself to do it. I've got more time to do it (having given up a couple of online distractions), I just have to give myself a push... or be hit over the head with a frying pan.

I am glad you fixed your issues. You have been having a head ache. I alternate between chrome and Firefox. It will take a bit to get used to it, but Firefox has some nice features.

I will take it into consideration. Considering the computer is basically used for hubby to book golfing tee times, and I watch live streaming of TMZ on it, the computer doesn't get a lot of use.

It almost sounds like a computer circus. I hope that they continue to function as they need to.

Firefox works best with most of the sites, while there are some sites which accepts only Chrome.

It's always a pain when computers are playing up, especially if you're trying to work on a novel. Good luck with it.

At least my neighbour (whose business is fixing computers), agreed that I should not put my flash drive in the computer while I had the virus/malware.

I still find the laptop clunky and hate moving from room to room with it. I wish I had an iPad.
