Very frequently we see people asking young kids (young minds): what are your aspirations! What do you want to become once you grow up. I'd like to ask them if they are providing these young talents an opportunity to showcase their energy and creativity somewhere now itself? Why to wait for them to grow up and explore, why not let them experiment in their own little ways and gain confidence. Off course their Parents would be there to support if they stumble, but it'd surely lead to new learning dimensions. Thoughts?

I think it is our duty to encourage children to do what they want rather than push them into something they do not want. I saw a programme about pushy parents who force their children into things that in fact they themselves were not given the opportunity to do. That is so wrong.

I think I have encouraged my children to pursue their dreams, but with a dose of reality....grounded to support themselves while reaching for the stars.
