I gave in and had good night.

I had a good night's sleep last night for the first time in ages. I'm generally quite a rubbish sleeper. My body clock thinks I live in the United States. I don't.. more's the pity so getting a decent night's sleep is something of a miracle. I don't have a TV in my bedroom, it's quite dark in there so it's set up right. Unfortunately I have to read before I go to bed and often get engrossed in a book. It's been quite cold here lately and I'd been trying not to put the heating in. I gave in last night cos my poor feet felt like ice cubes - quite large ice cubes but ice cubes nonetheless. About this time last year I had a new boiler and given that it's been off since March or the heating has at least to say it took me a fair while to remember how to turn it on would be an understatement. I couldn't quite work out how to get it to come on just for a couple of hours so I left it on low all night. I'll probably regret that when the bill comes in..oops. So the heating was on. I had lively fluffy pajamas and two beanbag heat packs and was snug as a bug in a rug. And I slept like a baby.

I don't have a problem sleeping - but I sometimes have a problem staying awake.

Well I am glad that you had a good nights sleep and I hope that when the bill comes it will have cost a lot less than you thought it would.
