I purchased an electric pressure cooking last June and I have made three cheesecakes in my pressure cooker. So easy and moist, creamy and yummy!
Do I have you drooling yet! Hehe! You can top it with just about anything or devour it plain!
I just made one yesterday for Thanksgiving, it is my daughter-in-law's favorite.
I highly recommend you buy one, some people have two and do most of their meals in them, they are a great time saver for people with families or busy lives.

I just had a friend telling me the wonders of her pressure cooker and one thing she mentioned was making cheesecake in it. Never would have imagined you could make cheesecake in a pressure cooker

It is awesome and so easy, I have made three so far, I think I am going to make another one tomorrow because you have to use a 7-inch pan, so they are not large, but so moist and creamy!

@Margielynn I have checked the recipe and I see that they put the pan inside the cooker. I have a steam oven, I think that the final result is the same.

It is easy, I only do easy anymore. You put water in bottom and put in a rack use a foil sling to lower into pot cover and a cheesecake is in the making!

@Margielynn I hadn't heard of that type. Maybe I could be persuaded. My mother had one explode when I was a kid and it really put me off.

Go on Facebook they have pressured cooker groups and join, they are awesome! Also do a search for electric pressure cooker recipes! Good luck! I boiled 18 eggs in it for deviled eggs for Easter, five minutes steaming and five minutes natural release and five minutes in ice water. They peel so easy, give it a try. Some do different amounts of time but this works for me! Any questions let me know, happy to help!

We have a pressure cooker which we use on occasions when we are in a hurry as it does cook the food very fast. I am at a lost how you can make a cheese cake in it though. It would be nice if you would do a post telling us how you made it.

You put water in bottom, 2 cup and then put in rack. I did not have a 7-inch spring form pan so I use a Pyrex bowl, you do the cheesecake filling like usually. You make a foil sling and place pan or bowl in middle and carefully lower down onto rack, when done use the foil to lift out. If you want recipe I can give it to you! It is so umma!

@Margielynn Thanks, I might have to try that. Is the recipe different to a normal baked recipe? (I'm not a member of Facebook)

If that is a photo, it's marvelous. I'd love to eat it. And cheese cake is just about the best thing there is going! But I hate hearing/reading the words or phrases drool, mouth watering, gastric juices, salivating, etc. They turn me off entirely.

I had a pressure cooker but only used it for rice. I do not have it anymore. I did not use it a lot.
