I used to dream about owning a Craft Shop

About twenty to thirty years ago I had the dream of owning my own craft shop. I would have been in "Hog Heaven" if I had. I also expect that I would have made quite a hog of myself. I can imagine I would have filled the shop full of supplies that I would like to use. Not only that I suspect that those supplies would have managed to find their way home with me. I would have had no profit margin, actually I would most likely have had a loss. I guess sometimes it's a good idea if your dreams don't all come true.

A craft shop wouldn't have appealed to me at all, but as you say it would have been no good you having one if you used all the stuff yourself.

Too bad you couldn't make your dream come true. My Mom wanted to have a fabric and wool shop, but she never got it unfortunately.

My mum had an antiques shop for years. It got increasingly difficult to cover the overheads.

One of my favourite sayings is 'be careful what you wish for'. The consequences can be totally different from what you thought.

@JudyEv isn't that the truth. I have a hard time resisting craft supplies, put me in charge of them and it's like putting a kid in charge of a candy store.

@HazySue I always loved books and paper products but I wouldn't want to sell any of it.
