I'm just a bit confused...

Here's what causing my confusion:
When I myLot from my desktop, I can see the share buttons for other social medias, namely, Twitter and Facebook on discussions.
But when I myLot from my laptop, I cannot see them.
I use the same browser, Firefox, on both.
There must be some kind of internet setting adjustments (?) I need to make on my laptop to make them visible again - yeah, I could have sworn I saw them before even on my laptop and not sure what made them gone.

I have found that these buttons seem to load last when the page loads. It's possible that your laptop either considers the page loaded before that script runs or that it is actually blocking the script, depending on what add-ons you have in Firefox on your laptop.
It would be worth trying another browser - IE/Edge or Chrome - on your laptop to see what effects you get.

@sishy7 No, I don't have any suggestions, I'm afraid. I'm actually becoming increasingly impatient with Firefox myself. It's laggy, suffers from Javascript and Flash errors and increasingly won't load pages at all. It just doesn't deal with errors gracefully and I end up having to close it through Task Manager very often (if it doesn't crash all on its own!)

I don't see them either, @sishy7 , but that is because the "share" buttons were causing some loading issues on my NetBook, so I let Ghostery block them. That took care of the loading issues my little NetBook was having.

@DaddyEvil Yeah, I figured that would be the wisest thing to do... (I often get wise ideas from an owl... )

@sishy7 I just skipped down to Owl's response, hon, and I would agree with him. You are not the first person who has been complaining about Firefox!
I am glad you switched to Chrome! Things should run faster and easier for your pc's now.

I haven't noted these buttons ever, I wonder if the webpage edition we use is the same one? haha~~
I have a question, you use the Firefox browser, does it have the stronge picture download function? For example, when I view the pictures (they usually can't be downloaded due to the limit), but if I use the certain browser, it will have a shortcut button of downloading.

@zhou17306 I am one who understands what you are asking sishy, Zhou.
Since I also have used Baidu for my searches, I can tell you the problem you have encountered does not have to do with Firefox, Chrome or IE, but your country. (At least that is my present belief.)
I have found that if I cloak and use Baidu as a citizen of China, there are restrictions placed on my use of certain functions that are not in evidence if I do the same in any other country.
Have I caused more confusion with my attempt at an explanation or have I helped you with your seeming problem?
(I have missed seeing you in my notifications for the last several days. I was beginning to wonder about your health and your ability to join us on myLot. I am relieved to see you here, Zhou.)
*DE bows to the young lady in greetings and in relief to find her well.* (Did I do this correctly, or have I made a mistake?)

@sishy7 That means, there is no Adblocker installed. Maybe you should try cleaning up the cache (the History) of the browser by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+DELETE. and select everything and then okay. (This will erase your browsing history and cookies and you will have to re-login)
Maybe that can fix up the issue.

@thesids Thanks for that. I'll try it when I get to my laptop. I also thought that I've never had an adblock, but who knows? I'll double check that and clean the browser history as well - come to think of it, it's probably been a while since I clean up the cache on my laptop...

I don't see the share button either only like for facebook and retweet for twitter, other than that only usual like respond, like, report, and whatnot.

@sishy7 No, I didn't misunderstand you, I'm not talking about the suggest button. I've just been to check on my own posts and find that if I wait a while the fb and tweet buttons do appear.
So the answer is yes I can see them on my laptop, whether it's my own or other people's posts.
