I'm just a bit confused...

@sishy7 No, I don't have any suggestions, I'm afraid. I'm actually becoming increasingly impatient with Firefox myself. It's laggy, suffers from Javascript and Flash errors and increasingly won't load pages at all. It just doesn't deal with errors gracefully and I end up having to close it through Task Manager very often (if it doesn't crash all on its own!)

Oh wow, how right you are! I tried IE and Chrome on my laptop and they appeared on both! Would you have any suggestion for me what I could do if I still want them to appear while using Firefox?

@owlwings Yeah, I should have just moved on to Chrome. It's just as easy to use and it shows the buttons! Thank you!

@sishy7 I just skipped down to Owl's response, hon, and I would agree with him. You are not the first person who has been complaining about Firefox! I am glad you switched to Chrome! Things should run faster and easier for your pc's now.

Uh oh, I'm probably the wrong person to ask these technical stuff - I'm not very proficient as you may have guessed from this discussion and my comments alone...

@zhou17306 I am one who understands what you are asking sishy, Zhou. Since I also have used Baidu for my searches, I can tell you the problem you have encountered does not have to do with Firefox, Chrome or IE, but your country. (At least that is my present belief.) I have found that if I cloak and use Baidu as a citizen of China, there are restrictions placed on my use of certain functions that are not in evidence if I do the same in any other country. Have I caused more confusion with my attempt at an explanation or have I helped you with your seeming problem? (I have missed seeing you in my notifications for the last several days. I was beginning to wonder about your health and your ability to join us on myLot. I am relieved to see you here, Zhou.) *DE bows to the young lady in greetings and in relief to find her well.* (Did I do this correctly, or have I made a mistake?)

Thanks! Yeah, I can now see the buttons using my laptop just by switching browser from Firefox to Chrome.

@sishy7 yup, didn't think about that...I use chrome. Good thinking :-)

@T_gray Yeah, I got the idea from one of the responses on this discussion actually.

When I switch browser from Firefox to either IE or Chrome they are visible again.

@sishy7 That means, there is no Adblocker installed. Maybe you should try cleaning up the cache (the History) of the browser by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+DELETE. and select everything and then okay. (This will erase your browsing history and cookies and you will have to re-login) Maybe that can fix up the issue.

@thesids Thanks for that. I'll try it when I get to my laptop. I also thought that I've never had an adblock, but who knows? I'll double check that and clean the browser history as well - come to think of it, it's probably been a while since I clean up the cache on my laptop...

Yes, I'm able to see the discussion date stamp, the user name/avatar, and the title.

@sishy7 oh sorry then I don't get that problem. hahaha but I am sure you have had it fixed. I am using chrome and I saw some already suggested it. I hope you have a great day :D

Yeah, it seems that the problem is caused by something on my laptop internet setup but I'm too afraid to change anything on it myself as I'm not too computer literate and I'd probably end up making the problem worse if I try to.

Oh, you probably meant the 'suggest' button which is similar to 'share' button on Bubblews. But I'm talking about the Twitter and Facebook buttons up on the top of the discussion text. Are you able to see them from your laptop?

@jaboUK Oh okay... I'm the one who misunderstood you then... I thought you meant the suggest button since you were describing their behavior - not seen on own discussions and visible only on other people's...

@sishy7 No, I didn't misunderstand you, I'm not talking about the suggest button. I've just been to check on my own posts and find that if I wait a while the fb and tweet buttons do appear. So the answer is yes I can see them on my laptop, whether it's my own or other people's posts.
