I captured this image in my camera this morning where this alamanda makes up for the dull background placing itself in a position attracting passersby as it is situated close to the entrance to our property.
It's been raining here these days which has added to the wild growth that is waiting to be trimmed and that we can only do after the rains subside totally.

Alamanda (yellow bell as we call it here) is one plant that never stops flowering. It makes the garden bright and lively.

You are right I have them all over my garden. But this flower placed itself in such a position that it became the centre of attraction.

i think the yellow flower is called yellow bell. i think the long narrow spotted leaves is a variety of a plant called san francisco here.
of all the shades of flowers i love yellow the best. that's why i'm glad our yellow gumamela (hibiscus) plant has at a few flowers every day.

If you search for Alamanda you will find this flower there. Yellow bell is a name that is coined by people like you and me. Poor thing let's call it by its real name
I too like yellow flowers. We have alamanda growing all over the garden.

@hereandthere It does need support but it does not have any of that which entwines.

@allknowing but it is a vine, right, that needs something to cling to and not a bush?

My property is skirted by 3 roads and so I do have many who not only look at my garden but some pluck the hibiscus which is planted on the borders.

@valmnz Hibiscus has religious significance among Hindus. They pluck them as offerings to their God. I tell them that I will get the benefit.(lol) I really do not mind.

This is the flowering season here and this flower is quite common. It has stolen the show by presenting itself at that position.
