Buckets of despair

"My heart is carrying buckets of despair,
I feel like I'm drowning
and cannot breathe the air.
How does one get here,
a place so remote,
alone, desolate and barely afloat.
My thoughts are mulling over and over again,
so muddled is my mind,
almost beyond repair.
Will any of this heart throbbing
pain ever cease?
when can my soul reclaim some peace?"
by Lany Olivier
Today a special service of Remembrance was held for my friend that went missing in the Himalayas, together with that and missing my mom, I have a few buckets of despair.
I once told a fellow blogger that our midnight writings were the reflections of our soul. I am reflecting some soul right about now.
This one was not on any other site - its my recent poem

So many questions, yet we are told it is not for us to ask why. I too wonder how we survive certain moments. I do know that somehow that strength is found, I can only wish you strength yet again @Inlemay and that you find comfort, surround yourself with loved ones and find that comfort.

@Inlemay , it is good that you can share these moments here, let a bit of the heartache out, wonder out loud in a sense. The more we know care, the little bit lighter whatever we may be going through seems, I hope this does comfort you a bit.x

I remember when you spoke about your friend who was missing. I am sure sorry to hear this person has not been found. I know if it was me it would be very hard to think of them and what may or may not have happened. And, then to couple that with another loss. I know they are both in a better place.

I can feel that heart pain, @Inlemay . It seems even harder to feel those losses as holiday time approaches. I hope you find some comfort. Everything seems worse in the middle of the night.

I love your poem, but I am sorry to hear about your friend who went missing in the Himalayas. That is so sad.

I am very moved by your poem, and I wanted to thank you for sharing something so deeply personal. There is nothing like the feeling of despair and the emptiness of loss...this deep and intense part of the human experience that we all eventually share, and yet we each walk it alone as well. You've expressed it so beautifully.
I wish you comfort, and peace.

this was very pretty, and -hugs-, there really are no words alone that adequately reflect sympathy

O, I was also teary-eyed the other day reminiscing those happy days when my late loving mother and father were still alive and healthy!
