After spending a few years writing online I have some to the conclusion that you can not sit there waiting for inspiration to just come to you.
You have to go out and drum up inspiration. You have to read, listen, watch, experience, and just plain old go out hunting for it.
You have to cultivate ideas, make up stories, reach subjects, and work at it.
I do the above plus I also have a whole list of writing prompts that can be surprisingly helpful.
I will share with you my favorite quote concerning inspiration: You can’t wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a club. ? Jack London
How do you find inspiration and ideas?

honestly, i write when the mood strikes me... but when i really have to write (for a client perhaps), i watch TV. more often than not, I formulate solutions from plots of soap operas, commercials, etc. I rant when I can't get the solution i need and that's what i write down. :P

I have a lot of things to review and that's what inspires me and my online writing.

@ReViewMeMedia I think we get a lot of our inspiration from our everyday life.
