My husband and I were out walking on our land earlier this week. We have a creek that runs behind our house. The current is quiete strong at times and on several occasions we have found old bottles. They have washed up into the creek from old buried trash piles on the land. The latest find was an old Clorox bottle...dated back to the late fourties. One time we found an old square medicine bottle and another time a perfume bottle. We will clean it up and add it to our collection! I wonder if one day someone will find our trash to be a treasure? Do you like finding old things? We do!

Yes, it has been around a very long time. I looked the bottle up and it can sell from $10.00 - $25.00 on eBay.

Sorry you lost your collection. We have moved a lot over the years and lost precious things too.

How do you display your bottles? They sound like treasures, for sure.

You are so lucky to have a creek on your property. Like @Jessicalynnt, I didn't realize that Clorox has been on the market for so long.

I love it after a hard rain....the sound of the water rushing by is so calming. Yes, for a long time.
