Getting Ready

We will be having dinner at my sisters tomorrow so we will be doing a lot of the prep work today. Our meal will consist of turkey and dressing, ham, mashed potatoes with gravy, green bean casserole (a new recipe), homemade mac and cheese, deviled eggs, sweet potatoes, rolls and pumpkin roll and banana pudding. Basically traditional holiday fare for our family. There will be about twelve of us for dinner. My sister Rosie, Henley and myself, our son and his wife, my sister Margaret and niece Laurie, my brother David, our uncle Rick and Rosie's friend Brandy and her two boys. That's more than usual. This will be the first time that Margaret and Laurie joined us for a holiday in about 5 years as she has pretty much removed herself from our family due to her (somewhat misguided, in my opinion) religious beliefs. So it will be interesting to be together with everyone at the same time again.

I hope everything went well. Which was more fun, the bonding of prepping? Or the dinner itself?
